Those otherwise-scrapped rolls of fabric are chosen not just for visual appeal and suitable dimensions, but we stretch at the weave to test its capacity for supporting heavy groceries.

(We're also not above re-purposing the better parts off of torn/faded, second-hand curtains, bedding, and dresses, along with scavenging clean upholstery from broken furniture.)
